U.S. Officials Commemorate 1998 Nairobi Embassy Bombing

[U.S. Embassy Nairobi]The U.S. Embassy's Chargé d'Affaires Steve Nolan, Deputy Chief of Mission Isiah Parnell, Kenyan representatives of the U.S. Embassy, and representatives of August 7th Memorial Park commemorated the 1998 bombing of the American Embassy in Nairobi by laying a wreath at the downtown Nairobi site of the former Embassy, now known as the August 7th Memorial Park, and by observing a short ceremony at the current U.S. Embassy in Gigiri.
