Seven Councils Told to Pay Workers Salary Arrears

[The Star] Unionist wants chief officers from seven councils to pay 10,000 workers their 14-month salary arrears. The Kenya Local Government Workers Union Bungoma County chapter chair Florian Nganga threatened industrial action against. The councils are Bungoma, Webuye, Kimilili, Malakisi, Kapsokwony, Sirisia, and Chwele. He urged chief officers to improve efficiency and enhance service delivery by steering clear of corrupt practices.
