Public Allowed to Debate National Security Intelligence Bill

[Nairobi Star] THE public was yesterday allowed to debate the National Intelligence Service Bill 2011. Yesterday, the public forum heard that there is need for the state and the current NSIS agency to come clean on whether the bill will always protect current regimes or citizens. Ambassador Boaz Mbaya called for sincerity on whether the bill will protect Kenyan citizens or the state. He said: "The bill should not target ordinary Kenyans but threats to ordinary Kenyans."
