Policeman Shot By Gangsters

A police officer was last night shot and seriously injured in a shootout with suspected thugs in Kariobangi area. The officer is nursing injuries at the Forces Memorial hospital. The officer who was in the company of his colleagues was shot while trying to save pedestrians who were being robbed by thugs. Police say the gang escaped on foot towards Korogocho slums. No arrests have been made.
