Police Officer Shot And Wounded

A police officer has been shot and seriously wounded in a shootout with suspected thugs in Nkoroi area of Ongata Rongai. The officer was in the company of his colleagues who were responding to a distress call when they came under attack at about 5 am. The gangsters escaped while the officer is nursing serious stomach wounds at a city hospital.
