Parliament Extends TJRC Period By Six Months

Parliament yesterday added six more months to the Truth Justice and Reconciliation Commission. This means that instead of closing shop on November 3, the commission now has until May 2012 to conclude its work. The commission was appointed on July 22 2009 and was supposed to serve for a two year period.
