Nyong'o Urges Action to Combat Cancer Upsurge

[The Star]MEDICAL Services minister Anyang' Nyong'o has called for concerted efforts to combat cancer. He has urged health professionals to come up with national cancer guidelines and protocols on the prevention, diagnosis and treatment of the disease. Nyong'o was speaking yesterday at the Kenyatta International Conference Centre in Nairobi at a forum organised by the African Cancer Foundation and attended by specialists, to deliberate on modes of cancer prevention and management in the country.
