Now Minimum Wage Increased By 13.1 Per Cent

[The Star] The government has raised the minimum wage by 13.1 per cent. Vice President Kalonzo Musyoka who represented the President at the celebrations at Uhuru Park in Nairobi yesterday said was aimed at cushioning workers from inflation. The increment will see Kenya's lowest paid worker carry home Sh11, 995 per month from the previous Sh10, 606.
