New Law to Rein in NSIS Rogue Officers

[The Star]MPs are planning to raise the punishment for intelligence officers who misuse their powers. The parliamentary Committee on Defence and Foreign Relations which is chaired by Wajir West MP Adan Keynan has proposed that officers who will misuse their powers be fined Sh5 million or face a jai term of 10 years or both upon conviction.
