New Gadgets to Monitor Hate Speech in Rallies
[The Star]The National Cohesion and Integration Commission yesterday armed CID officers with electronic gadgets to help them monitor political rallies for hate speech before, during and after the next general elections. The gadgets which included video cameras and voice recorders were delivered to Police Commissioner Mathew Iteere by NCIC chairman Mzalendo Kibunjia. Eighty four CID officers, selected from various units ,ethnic diversity and areas of specialisation, were yesterday trained at the Silver Springs hotel
