MP, Mui Residents Reject Chinese Coal Mining Firm

[The Star]Mutitu MP Kiema Kilonzo yesterday led the the residents of Mui Coal basin in Kitui county in rejecting the award of coal mining concession in blocks C and D to a "dubious" Chinese firm. The MP who recently led a community delegation to China to study the best mining methods that will not disrupt the social lives of the Mui coal basin residents, dismissed the Fenxi Mining Industry company that had won the mining tender was a fake.
