MP Mbau Takes On Jirongo Over Superhighway Remark

[The Star] Maragua MP Elias Mbau has called on the National Cohesion and Integration Commission chairperson Mzalendo Kibunjia to investigate the Lugari MP Cyrus Jirongo for allegedly inciting Kenyans against members of the Kikuyu ethnic group. Mbau said Jirongo, at a public meeting, insinuated that the Thika Superhighway connecting Nairobi and Thika is meant for the Kikuyu community, noting that the road is the main link to North Eastern province, Somalia and Ethiopia.
