Majority in North Eastern Not Aware of HIV Status, Says NACC

[The Star] Only about 10 per cent of the 2.3 million residents of North Eastern know their HIV/Aids status. North Eastern National AIDS Control Council coordinator Julius Koome attributed the low awareness of HIV status among the residents to retrogressive cultural practices.
