KDF to Be Honoured for Somali War

[The Star] THE Kenya Ministry of Defense has initiated the creation of a medal in commemoration of Operation Linda nchi in honour of the service men and women deployed in Somalia. Minister Yusuf Haji told parliament on Wednesday the medal was not limited to the success of the capture of Afmadow. In response to Kirinyaga Central MP Joseph Gitari's question, Haji said KDF is documenting the activities of the operation which will be released in a book.
