40 Embu Bars Denied Licences

[The Star] Forty applicants for bars in Embu West district have been denied liqour licences over security and nearness of the proposed outlets to schools and religious premises. The district liquor licencing court has also turned down applications of several bars owners who wanted to change their businesses into nightclubs and restaurants in order to extend the time in which to sell alcohol.
