Increase in City Council Toilet Fees -
You should not pay more than 5 shillings for using a city council toilet. City council Director for Environment Isaac Muraya has warned city council toilet operators that they are not supposed to increase the cost to ten shillings for now. [

Mt Kenya Evictees to Be Settled -
The government will settle 19 families evicted from Mt Kenya forest 21 years ago on part of land set aside for a university in Kirinyaga. The victims, who have been living in deplorable conditions on a roadside at Gathuthuma village, will be moved to South Ngariama. Scores of people were evicted from Kangaita forest where they grew food crops along side tendering trees and have been living in villages at the edge of the forest. [
