Alarm As KenGen Oil Spills Into Indian Ocean

Nairobi Star (Nairobi)-Hundreds of litres of oil spilled into the Indian Ocean on Sunday morning. Fishermen near the Mombasa port said yesterday that the oil, belonging to Kengen, is health hazard to them and there are reports of dead fish and sea creatures due to the leakage.

Mudavadi Calls for Amendment of Elections Act

Diaspora Remittances Up By 39 Percent in 2011

Nairobi Star (Nairobi)-KENYANS living abroad sent more money last year than in 2010, increasing remittances by 39 per cent in 2011to $891 million.
