US citizen expected in Benguela for African expedition

US citizen expected in Benguela for African expedition - Angola, Lobito - Renowned US explorer Julian Monroe Fisher, aged 56, is expected to arrive to the central Benguela province in August in the ambit of his most ambitious expedition dubbed “A-Walk-Across-Africa”.  A-Walk Across Africa is a four- to five-month expedition that Julian Fisher will attempt to walk solo west from the Indian Ocean coastal town of Pemba, Mozambique, towards the coastal town Lobito, Angola, at the Atlantic Ocean.  Angop learnt on Monday that conditions are created in the central Benguela province so as to receive in August the first American citizen to walk coast to coast across the African continent from Mozambique to Angola.  The local government and private entities have set up a multisectorial commission in order to receive the referred citizen.  Speaking to Angop, the head of the business group “Hoteis Angola”, Lucilia Moreira said the local government through the provincial department of hotels and tourism has been working for a good reception of the citizen Julian Fisher.  Julian Fisher started his expedition in Mozambique past by Malawi, Zambia, DR Congo and he expected to finish it Angola.
