Sambizanga Administration to shut down Beato Salu market - Angola, Luanda - The municipal administration of Sambizamga in Luanda, announced for next week the closure of the Beato Salu market, in Bairro Operario commune, and the vendors will be transferred to the Sao Paulo market. Speaking Thursday to Angop, the municipal administrator, Jose Tavares, said that there have already been enrolled 200 vendors of benches that will be accommodated in two ships, whose construction works are being finished. According to the official, this measure stems from the need to provide better organizational, safety, comfort and hygiene to vendors and users, with a view to public health, sanitation, and consumer rights.
