Writer João Maimona releases book

Memória de Sombra, Luanda - The new book by Angolan poet, João Maimona, entitled “Memória de Sombra” will be released soon in Angola, after it was presented in April this year at the University of Beira Interior, in Covilha (Northern Portugal).Published by “Nós Somos”, the work contains over 100 poems, and according to him takes the reader to settle in time with a combination of various contrasting feelings like construction and destruction, sadness and happiness.João Maimona was born on October 8, 1955, in Kobokolo, Maquela do Zombo, northern Uige province.He is contributor to several anthologies published in Belgium, Brazil, Spain, France, England, Macedonia and Portugal.
