Writer Esmeralda Augusto presents book in Luanda

Angola, Luanda - The Angolan writer Esmeralda Augusto will present he book entitled “Gritos da Alma” on May 19 at the Angola’s Writers Association (UEA) in Luanda. Speaking to ANGOP on Tuesday, Esmeralda Augusto said that the book has 30 poems in Portuguese, with reference to love, loneliness, sadness and happiness. The writer explained that the poems portray some experience of her as well as the imaginary world. After Luanda, said the artist, the work will be released in Huila, Benguela, Huambo and Malanje provinces. Esmeralda Augusto was born in Luanda. She is a member of the Youth Literature Brigade and already has one book on the market entitled “Poemas de Angola”, published in 2008.
