Urbanisation Minister reopens national roads in Bengo
Angola, Luanda – Three national roads that connect Bengo province to the rest of the country were re-inaugurated on Tuesday by the Minister of Urbanisation and Construction, Fernando Fonseca, as part of the rehabilitation programme of structuring and tertiary roads in the region.The roads include Caxito/Balacende (57 kilometres), Úcua/Pango Aluquém (45 Km) and Pango Aluquém/Desvio do Kibaxe (41 Km), currently rehabilitated for better vehicle circulation in the province.The integration of these works is part of a set of actions aimed at improving road traffic and creating other facilities for the local population.On the occasion, the governor of Bengo province, João Bernardo de Miranda, expressed his satisfaction at the inaugurated infrastructures, stressing that the roads will boost business exchange among provinces and other localities of the country.
