Successful health services requires information - Minister
Angola, Luena – The Angolan Health minister, José Van-Dúnem, said on Thursday in Luanda that the success and improvement of health services depend on the dissemination of information of the existing services in order to meet the current and future challenges with modern and active technologies.The official said so to Angop while addressing the opening of the 21st Ordinary Consultative Council of the Health Ministry (MINSA), going until October 8 in Luena, eastern Moxico province.The meeting is discussing controversial matters of the sector in the country, under the slogan “Acting locally for better health”.The minister thanked the hospitality extended to him and his delegation by the provincial Government.The opening ceremony was attended by Moxico provincial governor, João Ernesto dos Santos “Liberdade”, the deputy Health minister, Carlos Alberto Masseca, the chairman of the Angolan Physicians Association, Carlos Pinto de Sousa, nurses and other figures.
