State secretary mentions main country's benefits

Luanda, Luanda - The Angolan secretary of State of Foreign Affairs for Organisation and Finance, Rui Mangueira pointed out three main advantages of the country in its march towards progress. Delivering his speech Tuesday in Luanda during a visit to the premises of  the Angolan Foreign Ministry by a delegation of the Angolan community resident in France, the official mentioned the achievement of political stability, commitment of Angolans to process of development and improvement of people's living as among the main benefits.  The State secretary said that Angola is a rich country but the Angolan citizens must be aware of the need to work. According to him, the Government is committed to creating jobs, thus encouraging the people to perform the tasks of developing. The officials also spoke of the emergence of several projects aimed at opening many industries and development of various sectors. “It took ten years of hard work, fortunately the political stability in the country brought us the possibility of running the country for the first time  in an environment of peace,” he stated. The State secretary, who recognised the role played by the Foreign Ministry, stressed that the institution is focusing on implementing Angola's foreign policy, having mentioned the diplomatic services in several countries worldwide. In his turn, the spokesperson for the delegation of Angolan community resident in France, Armando Pilartes, praised the Government's efforts focusing on the promotion of the country's stability in all fields. The visit followed a meeting between the Foreign Affairs minister, Georges Chikoti and some 300 Angolan citizens resident in France held in March in Paris, France.
