Sports Minister works in Uíge

Luanda, Luanda – The Minister of Youth and Sports, Gonçalves Muandumba, is this Tuesday a two-day working visit to the northern Uíge province, where he will open the national first females polly sports dubbed "Zonal Norte".  Minister Gonçalves Muandumba will open in representation of the Vice-president of the Republic, Fernando da Piedade Dias dos Santos.  The opening ceremony of the event, to happen under the motto “In playing of females sport, promoting values in training of citizen”, will be held at the local 4 de Janeiro stadium. The competition will count on the participation of more than 500 athletes in nine sports, namely football, handball, athletics, basketball, volleyball, judo, chess, Karate and taekwondo. Athletes from the provinces of Uíge, Luanda, Bengo, Zaire, Cabinda and Kwanza Norte will compete in the tournament.
