South African defence forces chief expected in Luanda

Angola, Luanda – The South African chief of defence forces, general S. Z. Shalke, is expected on Tuesday in Luanda to participate in the opening meeting of Angola-South Africa defence bilateral committee. According to a press note from the Ministry of Defence that reached Angop, during his four-day stay in Angola, the delegation will present courtesy greetings to the Minister of National Defence, Cândido Pereira Van-Dunem, as well as he will meet the Angolan Army Chief. Besides Angola-South Africa defence bilateral meeting to last two days, the delegation will visit the National Air Force. The delegation is expected to return to South Africa on Friday.
