Russian top MP believes in modernisation of Luanda
Luanda, Luanda – The vice speaker of the Russian Parliament, Nadiejda Vassilieva Guerassimova, said on Tuesday in Luanda that in 10 years the Angolan capital city of Luanda will fully be modern and it will resolve many problems. Nadiejda Vassilieva Guerassimova said so to the press on Tuesday at the end of the meeting with the governor of Luanda, José Maria Ferraz dos Santos, aimed at discussing issues related to the governance of the Angolan capital city such as public health, citizens’ living standards, roads, transport, housing, kindergartens and hospitals, among others. The visiting team met already with the Speaker of the National Assembly, Roberto de Almeida, the minister of Energy and Waters, Emanuela Vieira Lopes. The delegation also to meet with the minister of Welfare and Social Reintegration, as well as with the Home Affairs deputy minister for Civil Protection and Fire. The delegation also visited the premises of Endiama/Sodiam companies, Fishing Research Institute, Lwini Foundation, 11 de Novembro stadium, Kilamba Kiaxi new town and the National Anthropology Museum.
