Russian parliamentarians begin visit to reinforce cooperation
Angola, Luanda – A delegation from the Russian Federation Parliament (Duma), led by its Vice Speaker, Nadiejda Vassilieva Guerassimova, started Sunday a four-day visit to Angola, aimed at reinforcing cooperation between both parliamentary institutions.After her arrival in Luanda, Nadiejda Guerrassimova and her delegation, made up of two members of parliaments and top official from the Duma, received welcome greetings from the Vice Speaker of the Angolan National Assembly (Parliament), João Lourenço, accompanied by other parliamentarians and the Russian ambassador to this country, Serguey Nenachev.During the mission to Angola, the Russian delegations will hold talks that should result in the signing of bilateral cooperation agreements in the parliamentary domain, as well as meet ministers and other top officials of the country.
