Russian MPs visit Angola on Sunday
Angola, Luanda – A delegation of Duma (Russian parliament), led by its speaker, Nadiejda Guerassimova, will pay on Sunday a four-day visit to Angola, in order to strengthen co-operation between the two parliaments.According to the programme, which reached Angop on Friday, talks are expected to be held between two parliaments that will end up with the signing of a co-operation protocol.The agenda of the Russian MPs also includes meetings with the speaker of the Angolan National Assembly, Ministers of Foreigner Affairs, Energy and Waters, Welfare and Social Reintegration, as well as with the Interior Vice Minister for Civil Protection and governor of Luanda.Visits to Endiama/Sodiam, Fishing Research Institute, University Campus, Lwini Foundation, 11 de Novembro stadium and Anthropology museum are also part of the programme.In 2010, an Angolan parliamentary delegation, led by the speaker of the Angolan National Assembly, António Paulo Kassoma, visited Russia, in the framework of re-launching the relations between the both parliaments.
