Roberto de Almeida releases new book

Angola,  Luanda – The Angolan writer and MP Roberto de Almeida released on Wednesday his new book entitled “Peço a palavra - peças de oratória parlamentar” in Luanda during a ceremony witnessed by the Vice-president of the Republic, Fernando da Piedade Dias dos Santos. The book comprises a collection of several speeches and presentations of the author between years 1996 and 2008) in different forums in Angola and abroad, in a phase of political-military and socio-economic turbulence in the country. The book also contains a speech of the Angolan President, José Eduardo Dos Santos. Roberto António Victor de Almeida was born on 5 February in 1941 in Kaxicane locality in the northern Bengo province.
