Remains of TPA cameraman laid to rest
TPA, Luanda - The remains of the image reporter of the Public Television of Angola (TPA), Feliciano Saiminho "Magico," who died on March 28, victim of plane crash, in central Huambo province, were on Tuesday laid to rest in the Alto das Cruzes Cemetery in Luanda, in the presence of family members, colleagues and friends.Among those present were the minister of Social Communication, Carolina Cerqueira, and the governor of Luanda, Bento Bento.In the eulogy, read by journalist Mario Vaz of TPA, was highlighted the fact that Feliciano Saiminho has loved his profession, in an "enviable", a deed that earned him in 2010, Maboque Journalism Award, at the Best Picture category."The physical presence of this reporter is no longer visible in the corridors of TPA, but his happy image will forever be recorded", says the message.Born on August 3, 1970, in Lobito, central Benguela province, Magico, as he was affectionately treated, was admitted at TPA on April 1, 1989 with the rank of assistant cameraman.In September 1989, is incorporated into the FAPLA (extinct Popular Armed Forces for the Liberation of Angola) and was readmitted to the TPA in 1992.Feliciano Saiminho "Magico" leaves a widow and four children.
