Religious people update personal electoral registration data
Luanda, Luanda - Members of various religious denominations on Sunday in Luanda updated their personal electoral registration data, in the framework of the process that will go up to December this year. The activity that took place in Cidadela sports pavilion was attended by members of the Christian Churches Council, Christian Churches Coalition (ICCA), Angolan Evangelic Alliance (AEA), among others.Speaking to ANGOP, after doing his electoral registration update, the chairman of the Religious Youth Forum, Antunes Huambo, considered the process important, because it will also make it easy for voters to choose their polling station.He also appealed to all the young religious persons and youths in general to go to the electoral registration posts and confirm their electoral data, so that they can make a contribution to the development of the country. On his turn, the pastor of the Spiritual Church of Divine Cure, Alberto Kaluvayu, called on religious leaders to be an example in this process. “It is necessary that all religious institutions encourage their members to go to the electoral registration posts to be eligible to choose who they want to lead this nation”, stressed the cleric. The activity was also attended by the deputy minister of Territory Administration, Adão de Almeida.
