Religious leaders call for peaceful behaviour

Angola, Ondjiva - The need for effective preservation of peace in Angola, through actions that contribute to a culture of civility and love for the country, in view of the coming elections, was advocated on Monday, in Ondjiva City, by leaders of various religious denominations based in the province of Cunene. In an interview to ANGOP, while speaking about the elections set for 31 August, the religious leaders stressed the importance of the act for each Angolan, thus, the need to have a peaceful behaviour, so that the polls happen in a climate of harmony. To the retired bishop of the Diocese of Ondjiva, Dom Fernando Guimarães Kevano, during the process it is necessary for Angolan people to open themselves to unity, harmony and love.
