Police reinforces surveillance measures
Angola, Luanda – The Angolan National Police (PNA) will reinforce the surveyllance measures in the roads of the country, so as to reduce death caused by road accidents.This was said to the press on Wednesday by the director of the national road traffic department, Commissioner Inocêncio Morais de Brito, during a meeting aimed to assess the road accident situation in the provinces of Kwanza Sul, Kwanza Norte, Benguela and Uíge.He said that his corporation is working in all sectors that may contribute to the reduction of accident rate.Inocêncio Morais de Brito highlighted the importance of media in the education, divulgence and sensibilization of everyone on issues related to raod accidents.The meeting, led by the police general commander, general commissioner Ambrósio de Lemos, was attended by representatives of the Ministries of Defence and Territory Administration, as well as officials of the Angolan Roads Institute (INEA), among others.
