Over 2,000 fiscal infringements recorded in 2011

Angola, Luanda – The Angolan Fiscal Police recorded 2,696 infringements in 2011, with stress to various types of trafficking, Angop learned Thursday in Luanda. The information was released by the Fiscal Police commander, commissioner Madalena Gambôa.  The officer was speaking at the opening of the Broad Consultative Council of the Fiscal Police.  Commissioner Madalena Gambôa mentioned 834 various crimes, including 430 foreign currency exchange infringements, 12 cocaine trafficking, 12 cannabis trafficking, four illegal trade of diamonds and two elephant tusk trafficking.  On the occasion, the commander asked for a stronger action in the fight against goods trafficking.  The two-day meeting is being attended by high ranking officers of the National Police from around the country.
