Operative situation in Cabinda calm - Home Affairs deputy minister
Angola, Cabinda – The deputy minister of Home Affairs for Prison Services, José Bamóquina Zau, said last informed that the operative situation in the northern Cabinda Province is calm.José Bamóquina Zau gave this information to the press last Friday, in Cabinda City, in the end of his four-day work visit to the province.Speaking to the press, the deputy home affairs minister said that “the province remains calm even along the border (…)”.He also said that during his visit, he took good note of all the concerns presented to him, mainly those relating to the need to reinforce human resources, infrastructures and equipment.He appealed to the Migration and Foreigners Services (SME) to redouble efforts in the fight against illegal immigration. The Home Affairs deputy minister also expressed his satisfaction at the readiness state of the police in the province in the ambit of the security need throughout the current electoral process, which will culminate with the casting of ballot on next August 31.During his visit, José Bamóquina Zau was accompanied by the commander of the Border Police, chief-commissioner Alberto Jorge Antunes "Jójó.
