OMA worried about attention given to elderly people
Angola, Luanda – The national secretary of the ruling party’s Women Wing (OMA), Luzia Inglês, said on Saturday in Luanda that she is concerned with the assistance families give to elderly people. The official said so to Angop said so to the press during the socialisation meeting with elderly people at the Third Age Sheltering Home of Beiral, promoted by OMA, in the ambit of the celebration of the African Women’s Day, being marked on Sunday 31 July. During her speech, the source said that many people are not patient with their elderly relatives and they abandon them. Luzia Inglês assured that OMA called for more space in the society for elderly people. She urged the society to respect elderly people, in order to avoid the same difficulties for the future generations.
