Muzongué of June gathers two generations of semba
Angola, Luanda – New and old generation artists of semba music style will entertain lovers of the genre on June 3, during an edition of the “Muzongue da Tradição” music programme, taking place at Kilamba Cultural and Recreation Centre, in Luanda, as part of the effort of publicising and preservation of Angola’s rhythms. For the programme of June edition, the manager of the centre, Estêvão Costa, told Angop spectators will have the opportunity to watch and listen to live music by musicians like Calabeto, Voto Gonçalves, Esmeralda and Eddy Tusa. The source stressed that the group intends to present on the same stage youths and elders that have been making a great contribution to the promotion and preservation of Angola’s samba music genre. Musicians Esmeralda Kissanga and Banda Maravilha will also perform at Kilamba centre.
