Musician against workday parties
Luanda, Luanda – The singer Ivlane Luciano, also known in the local artistic environment as Ivlane Kashial, said Monday in Luanda that parties during workdays should be prohibited as they cause sound pollution and idleness, mainly among the youths. The singer was speaking to Angop about the measures against sound pollution, commenting on now fashionable “Kunangas” parties run by jobless youths. Ivlane Kashial said the parties are thrown on Mondays, Tuesdays and Wednesdays, disturbing the neighbourhoods and night shift workers. She said the authorities should also punish offenders who ignore that such noisy entertainments should only be organised on appropriate days, times and places. The singer showed that she was aware noisy music is health hazardous.
