MPLA militants urged to divulge party's project for Angola
Angola, Paris - The ruling MPLA party urged its militants based in France to contribute to the success of the party in the country's elections, set for August 31, 2012. The appeal was made by the Angolan ambassador to France, Miguel da Costa at the closing ceremony of the 5th conference aimed at assessing the activities performed in 2009/2012 period in Paris. The official believes that MPLA will win the elections so that it may continue with its programme that leads to development. In addition, the diplomat said that these elections serve to legitimize this project. However, Miguel da Costa called on all militants and friends to work toward to the divulgence of MPLA project in order to ensure its victory. The event was attended by officials of committees located in the cities and provinces of France. The meeting was chaired by the first secretary of MPLA in France and general consul to Paris, Manuel António “Soviético”.
