Minister defends sports development countrywide
Angola , Luanda - The minister of Youth and Sports, Gonçalves Muandumba, Sunday, in Luanda, said that it is important to share experience in terms of adapted sports with other African countries, but considered that the main concern of Angola should focus on its development at national level.Speaking at the "Grande Entrevista" programme of the sports channel of Radio Nacional de Angola (Radio 5), he reiterated that there is much to do and that priority should fall to internal actions."We must do more and better and correct what we did not do well. We have many issues to develop at the level of the whole country. This should be our biggest concern, "he said. The government minister, who chaired on Thursday the opening ceremony of Development Conference organized by the African Paralympics Committee (CPA), said there is a long way to go and get experience of those who from the standpoint of development and support are more advanced. In this perspective, he pointed Nigeria, Kenya and South Africa as an ideal to convey knowledge to Angola."What we are doing, if it modestly serves as a model for other countries, obviously we will be able to share this knowledge. But of course we have a long way to walk, "he said.
