Managing Commission for Anibal De Melo Press Centre presented
Angola, Luanda - Members of Managing Commission for the Anibal de Melo Press Centre (CIAM) were introduced Tuesday in Luanda to the officials of the institution, at a session presided over by the vice-minister of Mass Media, Manuel Miguel de Carvalho. Created in the framework of restructuring programme of that organ under the the Social Communication Ministry, the commission is coordinated by Sara Rodrigues Fialho da Costa, assisted by Cristóvão António Bragança.The managing team is also integrated by António Rufino Neto, representative of the workers at CIAM, and Isabel Manuel Gomes Maiato another representative of Finance Ministry. According to the Mass Media vice-minister Manuel Miguel de Carvalho, the commission should within 60-day deadline, work out a restructuring plan that covers, among others, restructuring measures and the operational reorganisation of the referred centre and submit to incumbent of the sector. The Anibal de Melo Press Centre is a public institute under the Ministry of Social Communication. Its function is to accredit the believed correspondents and the special envoys from foreign countries in Angola and facilitate the free exercise of their profession the gathering of information about political, economic, social, administrative and cultural activity to the use of the special envoys and correspondents of foreign press in Angola.
