Lwini Foundation donates good, equipments to vulnerable people

Lwini , Caxito– The Lwini Foundation Thursday here donated goods and various equipment to help disabled people, orphaned children, women, ex-combatants, students with special needs and elderly persons in Caxito, northern Bengo province, Angop learned.   The donation is a handout of the oil company (Chevron), Wheelchair Foundation, COMUR, ECIL Group and ASAs, amounting to Akz 13.5 million (Usd 1,00 is 95,00) The handout includes wheelchairs, used clothes, blankets, shoes, motor bicycles, crutches, work kits, generators, television sets, computers, books, school materials and others. On the occasion, Lwini Foundation deputy chairperson, Joana Lina, thanked the gesture of Chevron and other companies that supported the donation and explained that there is a partnership with these institutions that have proved very useful in restoring some mobility and hope to thousands of Angolans. Joana Lina explained that Lwini Foundation is already working with Bengo province to identify potential areas and four projects to be implemented in the province.
