Luanda textile factory's experimentation phase to begin in January

Angola, Catumbela - The experimentation phase at the textile firm "Textang II", in Luanda, which has been paralysed for over two decades, will begin in January 2013, after a recovery period it is undergoing. The information was disclosed Friday at Catumbela village, in southern Benguela province, by the minister of Industry and Geology and Mining, Joaquim David. Joaquim David is paying a work visit to Benguela province, where he revealed the fact when questioned about the process of recovering of África Textil, the biggest textile fabrics factory of the province, also paralysed for decades which, according to the official "is already in its preliminary" phase of recovery. "At the moment we are recovering the Textang II factory of Luanda, which should be entering its experimentation phase as from January, but both África Textil and Satec firms are in their preliminary rehabilitation phase", the minister informed. He added that the rehabilitation process of África Textil is on good track. "As we know, both África Textil (of Benguela province), as Satec (Kwanza Norte province) are in their preliminary rehabilitation phase, it is an ongoing process that has just commenced (..)". Minister Joaquim David mentioned that the factories should be rehabilitated in a timeframe of one year and a half to two years, and the experimental phase at África Textil of Benguela will probably begin in 2014.
