Japanese embassy promotes "Manga" award

Angola,  Luanda – The Japanese embassy in Angola is promoting since July in Luanda the 5th International Manga Award.According to a press note from the Japanese embassy, which reached Angop on Monday, the award was established to share the Japanese pop culture and help other nations to better understand the lifestyles of people from Japan.The contestants should consult the guidelines and form to fill in, whose criteria and procedures for application, selection and awarding the works, are available in the Japanese embassy in Angola in Luanda.The deadline for handing over the works is until 26 August 2011.The document reads that Gold Prize of the 5th International Manga Award will be given to the best Manga and the other three works will get Silver Prize.The press release states that all contenders will be invited to visit Japan for nearly 10 days and will participate in the awarding ceremony to take place in Tokyo in March 2012.
