Italy to create language teaching cathedral
Angola/Italy, Luanda - The government of Italy will support in 2012 the creation of a cathedral for the official teaching of the Italian language in Angola.This was said to Angop on Monday in Luanda by the Italian ambassador to Italy, Giusseppe Mistretta, while addressing the press at the end of a diploma awarding ceremony to 50 students, who concluded the basic, intermediate and advanced Italian course.The diplomat said the cathedral will be created in the Angolan Catholic University (UCAN), an institution that has been co-operating the Italian embassy for long time.The ambassador said that teaching of Italian language at UCAN will free of charge.Italy supports Angola in the implementation of various projects, which are related to the sector of demining, education and culture.
