Interclube versus ASA highlight of basketball championship opening round

Angola, Luanda – The game between Interclube and Atlético Sport Aviação (ASA) is the main highlight of the opening round of the 2011/2012 first division male basketball championship, which will  start on Friday at 06.00 pm, in 28 de Fevereiro Pavilion, in Luanda.The start of the top division championship, dubbed BAI-Basket, is being awaited with much expectation by the public, who will be watching the dispute between the third and sixth placed teams in the last championship.Still on the same day, the round also includes the games Clube Desportivo da Universidade Agostinho Neto versus Vila do Estoril, plus Vila Clotilde versus Sporting Clube de Luanda.Another much awaited game will be played on 13 January 2012 between the defending champions, Petro de Luanda, and the holder of the Angola League Cup, Recreativo do Libolo.This game was rescheduled due to the fact that the two teams were involved in the preliminary round of access to the African Champions Clubs Cup.
