Industrial Property Institute to publicise national innovation system

Angola, Luanda – The Angolan Institute of Industrial Property (IAPI) is running a number of seminars in some provinces of the country to publicise the national innovation system and intellectual property, its importance and use of economic and social development. This was said Tuesday in Luanda by the director of the institution, Barros Licença. “We are organising seminars in provinces like Huambo and Lunda Sul. Next we will move on to Kwanza Sul and Zaire provinces, with the purpose of reaching every provincial capital of the country,” Barros Licença told Angop. The official stressed that the seminar aims at divulging matters of intellectual property, their importance and usefulness, as well as national institutions involved in these materials, instruments and laws that regulate the functioning of both institutions as the subject matter for their treatment.
