IFAL to upgrade students to higher degree level
Luanda, Luanda – The Institute of Local Administration Training (IFAL) is considering to implement a project of upgrade of its 500 medium level students from all provinces of the country to higher degree level. This was announced Thursday in Luanda by IFAL director, Ismael Mateus, at the celebration of the 10th anniversary of the institution on May 3, during a ceremony presided over by the minister of Territory Administration, Bornito de Sousa. According to the official, the said programme consists of creating conditions to upgrade students to higher degree levels as soon as they complete their medium training, combining presence and virtual methods of attendance. To this end, during the ceremony the institution launched a tripartite partnership involving the universities of Angola (Agostinho Neto), Estadual do Rio de Janeiro (Brazil) and IFAL, with a view to the distance education system. On the occasion, Ismael Mateus praised the work done by his predecessors in the management of the institution.
