Humanist spirit of JMPLA and Swapo's youth league highlighted
Angola, Luanda – The counsellor minister of the Angolan Embassy in Namibia, Silvestre Gando Castelo Branco, on Tuesday in Walvis Bay praised the humanist spirit of JMPLA, Angola’s ruling party’s youth wing, and the Namibian counterpart, the SPYL.The two youth political organisations organised an event to raise funds and collect goods for families affected by floods in the Angolan province of Cunene and in the northern part of Namibia.Silvestre Gando Castelo Branco praised the initiative of the youths, reiterating that the event shows the consideration that the two organisations have for a brotherhood between the two peoples.The diplomat said that unity between JMPLA and Swapo’s youth league should continue.The fundraiser counted on the presence of the Namibian minister of Fisheries and Maritime Resources, Bernard Esau, and the Police Commander, general Sebastian Ndeitunga, among other guests.
